GRP couplings can accommodate an angular deflection of 0.5 to 3o depending on pipe diameter and pressure. This angular deflection means that for long radius bends, It may be possible to eliminate, or at least reduces the number of elbows. Pipe should be connected in line and then correction for the desired angular displacement should be made (see figure Angular Joint Deflection)
